My name is Eli R. Royal and I am currently the Executive Chef at SunTower Retirement Community, a Senior Living Community in Sun City Center, Florida and a current customer of US Foodservices, Inc. To tell you a little about me, I began in the food service industry in 1983. From 1985 to 1996 I held various positions from Apprentice to Executive Chef, including two years (1994-1996) as Executive Chef at a major country club in Charleston, South Carolina. In 1996, I was the Executive Chef at Al’s Upstairs Italian Restaurant (voted #1 restaurant) in Columbia, SC. During these first thirteen years I had Recipes published in Gourmet magazines, made several TV guest Chef appearances and performed live cooking shows and demonstrations at several food and home expo’s.

From 1997 until 2000 I was the Executive Chef and Owner of my own restaurant, Island House Grille. During this period I became aware that I suffer from acute acid reflux. For the next five years, I continued to eat Italian foods, including pizza and suffered terribly from acid reflux each time. Finally, about six years ago, I was forced to give up all tomato products.

I recently had the opportunity to sample, evaluate and use the Bella Petrella’s products. I found all the products to be of superior taste and quality. Today using the Bella Petrella’s products, I can again enjoy authentic Italian tomato based dishes without suffering or experiencing any of the symptoms related to my acid reflux. As an Executive Chef responsible for food preparation of seniors, I would strongly recommend these products to anyone responsible for nutrition and food preparation in health care and especially anyone serving Seniors.

My name is Ms. Mary Ziegler and I am Dietary Manager of the Hawthorne Village of Brandon, a Senior Living Community in Brandon, Florida, and a customer of Sysco Corporation. We recently had the opportunity to sample and evaluate the Bella Petrella’s products. We included a number of our residents in this product sampling; many of them suffer from acid reflux or other stomach disorders. We found all the products to be of superior taste and quality. All of our residents that suffer acid reflux and other similar stomach disorders and consumed the Bella Petrella’s authentic Italian sauces and salsas did not experience any of the symptoms related to their stomach disorders. One resident confiscated a jar of the Italian Salsa for himself.

I would be interested in considering these products if offered by Sysco Corporation. I would also recommend these products to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian sauces and salsas and especially for anyone that suffers from acid reflux or similar stomach disorders.

My name is Mr. Ed Tooley and I have had the pleasure of tasting your products at a dinner hosted by Advanced Nutritional Solutions, LLC. I am the President of and currently am a Two Time Guinness World Record Holder and a Two Time International Record Holder. Most importantly, I suffer from acute acid reflux disorder and take medication daily. Before participating in this dinner, I was asked to refrain from taking my medication, which I did reluctantly. I most also tell you that I am a very picky eater and don’t like a lot of different types of food. I never eat red sauces because of my acid reflux.

The dinner began with a cold fish dish topped with your Sweet and Mild Salsa. It was delicious and very unique. Then I had a ravioli topped with your Princess sauce and pasta with your meat sauce. I have not eaten this amount of red sauce in over 20 years. I waited to feel sick expecting it to occur at anytime. I asked myself, “How can I have eaten this delicious Italian meal without getting ill.” I was told it is in the manufacturing of this product.

I strongly recommend these products to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian sauces and salsas and especially for anyone that suffers from acid reflux or similar stomach disorders. Keep up the great work and make sure I am included in trials of any new products.
